“Black Gold” Esperanza Spalding ft. Algebra Blessett

This is Spalding’s new video, and it was released this week in anticipation of her new album which goes on sale on March 20th. This is a must see video. Not just because her music is amazing and she is beyond talented but because the amount of social commentary she packed in a six minute video is incredible. I won’t spoil it but suffice to say, the dad teaching his kids about African history, making dinner, connecting to them on every emotional level is just… you have to see it.
